Prof. Anuradha Kapur introduces the topic and opens up the discussion.

 

During the discussion the following was agreed upon:

 

The Expo should happen in the beginning of January i.e. Jan 7

 

There should be a structure giving students maximum time to interact i.e. have common warm-ups, exercises and brief workshops.

 

Sessions and 30 min long students’ performances will take place between 11am and 1pm in a separate space. The hours can be renegotiated according to availability of the space.

 

Students will be able to watch performances starting from 2pm.

 

Eight students from each member school will be hosted for three nights by the organizer. Information on availability of space and extra cost for extra nights will be confirmed later.

 

A theme regarding the 30 min long students performance should be agreed upon as soon as possible via email circulation and discussion. One suggestion is to let the students work with text originating from India.

The next APB school directors conference should be held during the EXPO in New Delhi. During this conference decisions should be made regarding “summer school,” which is discussed here with enthusiasm and needs further discussion on specifics to make it work as soon as possible.
