The Wilderness by STA on Moscow YOUR CHANCE International Theatre Festival 27/05/2010

14 students of Acting Department 07  lead by Prof. He Yan, Jin Ye and Xu Xiaohuan performed The Wilderness on Moscow YOUR CHANCE International Theatre Festival and was well received by actors, directors, theatre academy professors and students, and theatre lovers. The theatre festival committee and Nastrastom Theatre manager awarded STA teachers and students Medals and souvenirs respectively. Moscow friends enquired about the theatre training, theatre audience in China and character building in the creative process of The Wilderness. Theatre Manager of Nastrastom also discussed about further collaboration with STA and invite Levinsky the disciple of Meyerhold to teach in STA in the future.

 

During the time in Moscow, STA has also done a workshop on Voice, Body and Improvisation. Prof. He Yan interviewed by Moscow media, introduced the theme of this workshop and answered the other question regarding warm- up exercises and daily training methods. The workshop participated by both Chinese and Russian theatre students and was especially interactive and inspiring.
