1. Voting to welcome the Faculty of Art and Social Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, as an APB member schoo.
2. Writing a statement of intent to link direct to ITI, in light of Cornelieu’s Chair not being renewed, and appointing Christian to represent us at the Romanian meeting.
3. Consult at home and share proposed new structure ideas - knowing that we await further information from ITI Secretary General, Tobias Biancone, in October.
4. Committed to Vietnam APB Student Festival in early Sept 2013. Responses needed to Vietnam by end of September – approval or comment on the proposals already submitted, together with rough idea of participation numbers requested.
5. Send staff lists, identifying each member school’s experts and specialists - to STA’s APB Web Editor Xu Jiali at
xujialiaviva@yahoo.com
6. Identify top ten plays of each nation, marking which are already in translation into English; together with top five books on theatre in each country – to STA’s APB Web Editor Xu Jiali at xujialiaviva@yahoo.com by the end of 2012.
7. Identifying a contact person in each member school, by the end of the TNUA event, for all further communications, and remember to update the email group if the person changes.
8. Invite membership from member-nominated Theatre schools or departments of Asian countries lacking current representation. (For the time being, one school per country from new countries).
9. Consult and discuss the issues of membership and prepare a discussion paper on the concept of two or more members from any country – identifying and nominating where growth might occur (by the sub-committee).
10. Check on lapsed members (e.g. Aubrey to check Toho and NIDA) and read material on website and suggest any necessary clarifications, edits or additions.(Did we have a sub-committee on that?)
11. Endorsing TNUA’s concept of including guest schools, in the festival - as did the 2011 Delhi Conference and the 2009 Shanghai Expo.
12. Thanking and congratulating to TNUA for splendidly hosting the 2012 gathering.
