Press Conference of the First Show Exhibition of Oriental Comedies Held at STA 14-10-2009

The first Show Exhibition of Oriental Comedies co-hosted by the Centre for China Shanghai International Arts Festival, Shanghai Theatre Academy, Beijing Dadao Culture Production Company and Shanghai Eastern Shanghai International Culture Film and Television Group will be on from Oct. 18th to Nov. 18th in the 11th China Shanghai International Arts Festival. At 1:30 on the afternoon of Oct. 13th, the press conference of the show exhibition was held at STA. Chen Shenglai, the president of the Center for China Shanghai International Arts Festival, Lou Wei, Secretary of Party Committee of STA, Chen Peisi, artist of comedy performance, Fang Jun, the president of Eastern Shanghai International Culture Film and Television Group and news media in Shanghai attended the press conference. The press conference was chaired by Sun Huizhu, Vice President of STA.

The show exhibition of comedies is composed of eleven excellent productions of comedy from Beijing, Taiwan, Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia and Shanghai. During the press conference, Chen Shenglai, the president of the Center for CSIAF pointed out that the show exhibition of comedies was a highlight in the International Arts Festival. Lou Wei, Secretary of Party Committee of STA talked about his opinions on arts talents’ training and comedy art research. Artist Chen Peisi wished to devote himself to the education of comedy art. Fang Jun, the president of Eastern Shanghai International Culture Film and Television Group expressed the willingness to promote international communication of comedy art.
