Study tour of Tisch, NYU 28/05/2008

On May 18, 25 students and faculty from Tisch NYU arrived on our campus and started their one-week study tour, during which they will visit the cultural institutions of Shanghai, come to classes at STA and go for some sight-seeing in and around the city.

Tisch has a long friendly relationship with STA. the most impressive moment of this cultural trip happened on May 23, according to the members of the delegation. On that day, they went to visit classes mainly ballet and traditional operas of china on our Lianhua Rd. Campus. They were amazed by the wonderful skills of our students. Many of the students expressed their desire to come back next year and spend more time at the Traditional Opera College of STA.

On that night, the Tisch group also went to a performance for raising fund for the Sichuan earthquake area and donated more than RMB 2000. They showed their best wishes to people in the disaster area.
