The Spanish Drama Group Teatrofia Giving Performances in STA 18/09/2008

The Spanish drama group Teatrofia gave three amazing performances named “Here we are. That shows we have come” in Shangxi threatre of STA through September 15 to 17. The performances were well received by all the audience. On September 16，Teatrofia held a workshop in the “Black Box”，communicating with teachers and students in STA.

“Here we are. That shows we have come” was a mime without complicated lights，setting，music，costumes or props，but it made smooth communication with the audience through the actors’ body language and facial expression. The 90-minute performance had no complete plot. Three actors Juan Lius Moreno，Antonio Conejo，Juan Reyes created different scenes and charm of the characters only through their body language. In the performance the audience were also invited to act. The whole mime was full of humorous comedian elements which made the audience laugh during the whole performance. 

Teatrofia was founded in December 1997 and formed the style of performing  mimes in 1998. It has toured more than ten countries. Just as Juan Lius Moreno said in the workshop，the aim of performing on stage is to share the whole process with the audience.
