Officials from French Ministry of Culture Division of Theater Visits STA 21/10/2008

   
Yesterday afternoon, Prof. Han Sheng, Vice President（in charge） of STA, met a group of officials led by Jean-Pierre Walz from French Ministry of Culture Division of Theater. Prof. Gong Baorong, head of the post-graduate department of STA was present at the meeting.

Prof. Han Sheng introduced to the guests some important facts of Shanghai Theater Academy especially the Experimental Theater Festival and the Asian-Pacific Theater Expo and hoped that France would send troupes to participate in the festivals. Besides, Prof. Han Sheng also introduced the preparation work of STA Center for Foreign Theater Research. The French guests showed strong interests in these projects and expressed their hope to participate in the cultural exchange between China and France.
