President Prof. Han Sheng Meets the Delegation of France-China Friendship Association 30/10/2008

On Wednesday afternoon, Executive Vice President Prof. Han Sheng met a delegation of six headed by the chairman of France-China Friendship Association on campus.
   
came to our academy to have a friendly talk with Vice President Prof. Han Sheng. The Municipal Government of France is going to bestow a statue of Victor Hugo to Theater Way. The France-China Friendship Association Branch in Besançon has been working on this project for several years. With their efforts, the statue is under way and is expected to be finished in the end of next year. Vice President Prof. Han Sheng expressed his gratitude toward the French delegation and introduced to the guests the Research Center for Foreign Theater under way and the first UNESCO-ITI APB Theater Expo and the fifth International Experimental Theater Festival to be held next June. He hoped that the French friends would recommend theatrical troupes, artists and theatrical scholars to attend. Vice President Prof. Han Sheng guided the French guests to the STA Theater Square which raised great interests of the guests. The director of The France-China Friendship Association Branch in Touraine expressed the wish to bestow a statue of Balzac to Theater Way. Vice President Prof. Han Sheng expressed gratitude and welcome.
