Prof．Ge Lang Present in 2008 Israel International Theatre Festival 05/11/2008

Invited by Consul General of Israel in Shanghai，Prof．Ge Lang，Vice President of STA participated in the 2008 Israel International Theatre Festival as a guest of Ministry of Foreign Affairs，Israel through October 17 to 28．

Israel International Theatre Festival is a grand event of theatrical arts held by Cultural Division in Ministry of Foreign Affairs，Israel together with many theatre institutes．During the festival，art directors of international art festivals and national theatres are invited to attend activities and sign agreements of exchange and cooperation. Since the fifth Israel International Theatre Festival this year，internationally－famous school of art is invited．Shanghai Theatre Academy is the only school invited this year．Prof．Ge Lang watched 40 performances in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem．The dramas were rich in themes，ideas，artistic styles and artisitic expressions，which made the performances attractive and impressive．Under the arrangement of Consul General of Israel in Shanghai and Director of Cultural Division in Israel  Ministry of Foreign Affairs，Vice President Prof．Ge Lang visited famous Israeli artists and four schools of arts and met directors of art festivals from the Netherlands，Turkey，Poland，Germany，Greece，Cyprus，Slovakia． They all expressed their hope to exchange and cooperate with STA．
