Tour of Kunqu Opera in Taiwan 05/03/2009

On the morning of March 3，Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture Radio Film and TV held the conclusive conference of 2008 Shanghai Culture Radio Film and TV External Work（Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan） in Shanghai Library. In the conference，groups， individuals and projects which performed well in the work were honored. “Tour of Kunqu Opera in Taiwan”， a project of Chinese Opera College， STA was named Outstanding Project of 2008 Shanghai Culture Radio Film and TV External Work（Hong Kong，Macau and Taiwan）.

From December 28， 2008 to January 10， 2009， a group of 36 from Shanghai Youth Kunqu Opera Troupe of Chinese Opera College， STA brought classic Kunqu Opera performances to Taiwan. The group toured many arts schools and arts centers in Taiwan. They also delivered lectures about Kunqu Opera.
