British Comedy “Black Comedy” Staged in New Space at STA 23-10-2009

“Black Comedy” written by Peter Shaffer was recently staged in New Space Theatre at STA. It was directed by Jiang Weiguo and produced by students of Directing Department Class 07.

Director of this play Professor Jiang Weiguo graduated in 1964 from STA and directed many plays. This time he returned STA as a guest professor and cooperated with students of Directing Department Class 07 to produce the play. In order to provide opportunity to the students of directing, Professor Jiang left much time for the students to create the play by themselves. Since the first show on Oct. 16th, the New Space Theatre has been filled with audience almost every time.
