Press conference of La double Inconstance held in STA 16/04/2010

On April 16^th, press conference of La Double Inconstance, one of the series of shows of “Sino-France Springt of Cultural 2010”, was held in the conference room of Fo Xi Building, STA. Doctor Ivan Ruviditch of French Consulate General in Shanghai, Ma Linhong, Vice President of School of Further Education, STA, Zhang Yu of Shanghai Xian Dai Ren drama club, Hu Hongqing, Vice President of Shanghai Art research Centre, Director of La Double Inconstance and representatives of the cast participated the conference. Many of Shanghai’s media attended the press conference. The press conference was hosted by Qiu Haiping from School of Further Education.

 

“Sino-France Spring of Cultural” is another important event organized by the Chinese and French governments aimed to promote mutual culture communication. In 2010, the first “French Drama Collection” was held as part of “Sino-France Spring of Cultural”. The STA version of “La Double Inconstance”, organized and co-performed by School of Further Education will be in theatre in June 2^nd – 6^th.

 

“La Double Inconstance” is the work of French novelist and dramatist Pierre de Marivaux, a classic play full of French elements. It tells the story that how the perceptions of love of young people of completely different social classes “mutate” as their living environment changed.

 

It is reported that all casts are from the Performing faculty of School of Further Education, which is a good opportunity to exhibit the achievements and quality of its education.
